In this web-based application, we, the Berliner Geschichtswerkstatt (Imprint), process personal data of our visitors in accordance with Article 6, Paragraph 1, point (f) of the EU Data Protection Regulation (GDRP), and only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website, its content and services.

Logfiles

When requesting any website – not only this one – the browser automatically transmits data to the web server: IP address, amount of data transferred, request status, referer (referring address), date and time, language, operating system, name and version of the browser. This information is written to a log file. Storage of these data serves the operational security as well as the daily generation of a retrieval statistic with the statistic software Webalizer. Log files are deleted after seven days, unless longer storage is justified for tracking attacks and malfunctions.

Cookies

We don’t use any cookies. Visitors must not login to visit our pages.

Third-party content

We do not share your data with third parties. We do not embed any third-party services (like Google Analytics, ad servers or social media buttons) with one exception being Openstreetmap.org (see next section). All content and resources are hosted on our webspace in Germany and transmitted over a secure connection (SSL) between web server and browser. Our hosting provider all-inkl has committed to comply with GDPR.

Openstreetmap

In order to display our tour locations, we embed maps from Openstreetmap. This is a collabrotive cartography project under the auspices of the Openstreetmap Foundation in Great Britain. In order to display a map, one or more requests to their map server are necessary. By requesting the data, your browser transmits the same data as detailed in the “logfiles” section to their server.

Final note

In the case that either changes to the data processing of our website or requests of our visitors require a modification of this privacy policy, we will act accordingly. Therefore we ask you to visit this page regularly.
